Now that we are finally approved, we can share the exciting news with everyone! We are officially on the waiting list for an open domestic infant adoption through Bethany Christian Services! We are so overjoyed and excited for what’s to come. We went through months of paperwork and the home study process and we are finally here. It still doesn’t feel completely real that we could potentially become parents at any time from here on out.

We are so blessed by all of the support we have received thus far. We are so thankful for all of our amazing friends and family who have gotten us this far along in the process. I honestly don’t know how we could have done it without you.

From here on out, I want to post to keep everyone updated in what’s going on (or isn’t, as the waiting process can be a very long time), and help make everyone feel involved in our adoption journey. It is so very important to us that our child has a whole community who loves him or her and is involved in his or her life. We hope that through blogging you will feel connected to our story and us and someday soon be able to love on our little one.
